It was January 9, 2007, the day after the UF Football team won a National Championship. There were high hopes and excitement for our UF cycling team, and we were looking forward to a great season. That day, during practice I was hit by a car and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. I sustained significant neck, back and leg injuries. I thought my athletic career was over. I have been a competitive athlete for 16 years, from track and field, college football, cycling, and Olympic development team for soccer. I had never seen or heard of anyone come back from such an accident and to be able to compete again at a high level.
After a few months of excellent management at Lewis Auto Injury Care, I was able to begin training again.
Just last week in Miami in the Track Cycling State Championship, I won 5TH place! I was about to quit my sports career, and 1 year later I was able to achieve a great result. Now I am really looking forward to Nationals in September.

If you’re injured, this is the best place to be! I feel like everyone was a family member to me. The office staff was so friendly and considerate of my needs. I hate to leave because I felt so special each time I came into the office. Dr. Lewis and the entire staff are just outstanding! Where would I be today without their help? I would hate to think about that. What a sharing and caring atmosphere . I will come by just to say hello and I will refer my friends if they ever have injuries. GOD BLESS!!

I was in a car accident with four of my girlfriends during Spring Break 2007 on our way to the beach for the week. Four out of the five of us were injured and went through rehab at Lewis Auto Injury Care. In a matter of months we were all back to our normal, active selves. I was a very physically active college student, with my normal week consisting of everything from running, cycling, and swimming to bowling and aerobics classes. My greatest love however was running. I was a competitive cross country and track runner in high school and had continued running on my own in college. After my accident, I couldn’t run without severe aching pains.
A year later, thanks to Dr Lewis and his staff, I can again run comfortably. I am also back to my normal active lifestyle. The staff at Lewis Auto Injury was kind, flexible and informative. At one point during my treatment I was living in Orlando and had to go to another office to continue my therapy and it was like night and day compared to Dr Lewis’ practice. The treatment at Lewis Auto Injury is well rounded and focuses on all the different aspects of recovery. Thank you soooo much to everyone at Lewis Auto Injury Care!

Thank you for the professional care and support I have received during my rehabilitation after my auto accident. It has been a pleasure working with the entire staff at Lewis Auto Injury Care. They took the time to explain how, and why the injuries occurred, and how as a team we would rehab them.
